What a gorgeous building for a classy engagement shoot! Carissa & Zach are one of my June 2024 couples. They love to have fun with each other and can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives as one.

With all of my local wedding packages I include an engagement shoot. I find engagement shoots to be very necessary for many reasons.

1. It gives us the opportunity to work with each other in a “photoshoot” scenario so you can learn how I photograph and direct… and I can learn how the two of you like to have your photos taken!
2. You can become comfortable with me. A wedding day is filled with emotions and I am there through every bit of it capturing the moments.. having someone you feel comfortable with is so important! Taking time to do an engagement shoot helps us to get to know each other in a laid back environment.
3. Knowing your love story and who you are helps me to capture your love more authentically. During your shoot I love to ask more in depth questions about how you met, what you guys do for a living, what your history is, etc.. and knowing all those details helps me to capture and be prepared for your wedding day photos!
